Summary: The place is conveniently located in Wausau and the check in process was easy and smooth, but the place was much worse than the pictures. I wasn't expecting anything fancy but was really disappointing. The floors were dirty and had sand all over them. No one has swept or vacuumed any of the spaces. We swept after ten minutes of being there because it was so annoying. The dishes and silverware weren't clean. They actually had food stuck and dried to them. The counters weren't wiped and there were crumbs all over them. The kitchen is not stocked with utensils and things to cook a meal and eat as advertised. There was only one bowl which had a big chip and only two coffee cups. There were plates but if a place sleep four I would expect a place setting for 4 people. There was silverware but no sharp knifes, just an empty knife block. And only one pot (which was made of glass and from like 1970). The back bedroom had a comfortable bed, but the front bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable. It squeaked and you can feel springs and it sinks to the middle. The traffic noise from the street out front was also very noticeable. We found it hard to sleep. We ended up leaving after the first night and staying in a hotel. I contacted the host to report the poor conditions and ask for a refund for the second night and have not received a response. Really disappointing stay. Would not stay there again.
