Summary: First, the host is amazing. Kind, communicative and helpful. The house is definitely dated but in good condition overall. No AC is not great but because there are so many windows and it’s by the water we got plenty of wind coming through the house. It was nice to have a cooler to use and towels for the beach and the washer and dryer was much appreciated. The outside shower was really nice to have….until we can home one day and noticed someone had defecated in the shower!!! The host was appalled and took care of it right away. Points lost due to the lack of safety we felt in the area. We were told there was a large homeless population and maybe that’s where the poo came from??? We had to make sure all of our things were inside every night and every time we left the property. We were told of other crime in the area as well from locals at a shop nearby. We loved having anahola beach right down the road; so nice! And make sure you try Onos char burger close by too:)
