Summary: The cabin is cute and the setting is beautiful. Wooded, quiet, and peaceful. But the cabin is even smaller than the pictures imply. It’s a studio and would not fit four adults. We stayed two nights and it worked for us but any longer and we’d want more space. There is not a dresser, so we used the couch for our stuff and then no couch to sit on. The weather was nice so we hung out outside. They provided a little firewood. We had enough for two fires and they’ll sell you more. The bathroom was nice but no washcloths or hairdryer. I didn’t bring a hairdryer because one was listed in the description. Small kitchen with a tiny fridge for a couple drinks or snacks. We brought yogurt for the morning but there was only one spoon so we had to share. Again, it’s small and limited but we made it work for a few days. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows not soft, bring your own pillows! Our dogs loved it and I liked that it was dog friendly. Make sure you include dogs in the booking. I did not find a place to do that and got an extra charge afterwards. There is a shared pier on the opposite end of the property. It feels like your trespassing in someone’s backyard but it was serene sitting on the bench on the pier. No wifi and spotty phone service. It was clean and convenient, about a 20 minute drive to Minocqua.
