Only 3 miles to Conley Bottom marina, a full service marina with Pontoon rentals as well as ski boats and jet skis. This condo is located and managed by Golden Pond Resort, a quiet small community, with a pool for guests as well as a tennis court, sandy volley ball area, also horse shoes, play area for kids with slide and swings. This condo has one queen bed and the other bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds to sleep 4. A 44 inch flat screen TV. Free wifi is also provided and expanded cable with over 55 channels. Open floor plan makes this 650 sq. foot condo seem spacious, with full size appliances, fully stocked kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, ect.
Only a 10 minute drive to Monticello for groceries at our super Walmart as well as a few restaurants fast food places and a pizza hut that does deliver to your door. Somerset is only 20-25 minutes for adult beverages, many more restaurants, theaters, mall, also putt putt golf, and a water park on the north side.
There are several golf courses, one in Somerset called Eagles Crest country club, also Burnside State Park only 25 minutes away has a nice course as well as Albany KY. Beside Lake Cumberland, other things to do would be a old train ride through old coal mining town, Cumberland Falls for hiking, horse back riding, or canoeing, only a 45 minute ride through beautiful countryside. Mill Springs a historic site of the civil war is only 5 miles away. In the town of Monticello take a tour of the museum for a taste of our past. Many small antique shops and flea markets spread out through the area.
You can drive to the waters edge later in the summer when the lake recedes. There are also two other locations near by to get to the waters edge.
