The property is less than a 15 minute drive to Portland's Downtown District (a historic, seacoast city filled with galleries, shops and award-winning restaurants). Portland has been recognized nationally as one of the Top 10 places to visit. Falmouth Foreside was featured in Down East Magazine as one of Maine's most prestigious neighborhoods, Enjoy the most amazing sunrises from the neighborhood cove-style beach.
There are many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors while taking in the beautiful scenery during your stay. You will often see people walking or running along Foreside Road (Rt. 88 - a portion of the annual Maine Marathon route), as well as wooded trails off nearby public parks. A relaxing stroll to a local favorite, The Town Landing Market, is only 5 minutes away. If you enjoy sailing, kayaking/stand-up paddleboarding or salt-water fishing, there is public access at the end of the street, as well as at the public Falmouth Town Landing 5 minutes away. If sitting on a beach at low tide overlooking Casco Bay and sailboats appeals to you, then Underwood Cove is a perfect choice at the end of the street.
