Step back in time aboard a beautifully restored 1948 Great Northern caboose on Minnesota’s North Shore Just steps from Lake Superior (separated by HWY 61) and only 1/2 mile from some of the area's best scenic spots at Kadunce River. This cozy one-bedroom retreat sleeps up to 4 (2 adults, 2 children), with original railroad character, vintage details, fireplace, Wi-Fi, and private patio. Just outside, a private bathhouse offers a deep soaking tub and shower. 10 minutes from downtown.
The space
The caboose is a cozy, one-bedroom retreat with original railroad character and vintage details throughout. The living area includes a comfortable sitting space, gas fireplace, and kitchen, with sleeping accommodations for up to four guests — a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.
