Just over an hour's drive from the city, enjoy some fun and relaxation at our private lakefront cottage. This newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 full baths includes a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and a dining area that overlooks Candlewood Lake. 2 queen beds and a twin bunk will accommodate a maximum of 5 guests. Hang out on the deck and enjoy a cup of coffee on us. Or curl up with a glass of wine while relaxing in our shaded patio overlooking the lake. The cottage is fully furnished with fresh linens and towels. Enjoy movie night with our 65" television under an electric fireplace.
For outdoor enthusiasts during the warmer months, go for a swim at our private dock. There's also bass and trout fishing right on the dock (fishing license required). Have fun kayaking that is included with your stay during the spring/summer. Relax on the Adirondack chairs while roasting marshmallows by the fire pit located by the dock. Rent a boat at a nearby marina (4 miles away) and moor it on our dock . The dock can accommodate a boat up to 25 feet.
There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and shopping within 2 miles from our cottage. Danbury Fair shopping mall (7.8 miles away) has over 180 shops.
Please be responsible and respect property and furnishings; no big parties or late, loud evenings.
